The present website is dedicated to the showcasing and promotion of the musical projects and creative activities of San Francisco composer/multi-instrumentalist Ferrara Brain Pan. Foremost among these is the evolving musical entity Forms Of Things Unknown.

Forms Of Things Unknown was launched as a one-man studio project in 2002 and continues to serve as the primary creative vehicle for the music of Ferrara Brain Pan. Forms Of Things Unknown (or FOTU) is essentially a solo endeavor, with occasional assistance from a fluctuating cast of like-minded artistic colleagues.

Also discussed and promoted herein are the various past, present and future collaborations involving Ferrara Brain Pan, including Everything But The Gargoyle (Ferrara's current dark wave duo with MySpace muse Pixyblink), Darmstadt Pharmacy (the late 1990s duo with Ure Thrall), the late-1970s association with legendary noise provocateur Boyd Rice (see the Interviews page), and other as yet undetermined or unrevealed projects. Though studio recording projects constitute the focus of musical activity for Ferrara Brain Pan, news of infrequent live performances and such can also be found on this site.
